Perhaps the goofiest photo I've captured of Kaelyn. LOVE that smile. (The fluffy stuff in front of her face is my robe.)
Kaelyn had her follow-up pediatrician appointment. Our regular doctor was out of the office so we met with Dr. Engel instead just to check up on Kaelyn's weight. Since Tuesday, she's gained an ounce and a half and Dr. Engel was very happy with this progress and she says she's doing fabulous. She should be back up to birth weight by her next appointment next week.
She's more alert every day and is such a sweet baby. She loves nothing more than to snuggle. Gracie and Budaj love watching her. We're slowly having them spend more time with her. I can definitely see them being her protectors.
