Fluffy tushy

Today was the first day trying out the cloth diapers. So far, I really like them. They seem to keep her bottom really dry, they're one size so fully adjustable, and well, they're just so gosh darn cute on her :)

The one-size all-in-one diapers we got are the easiest cloth diaper option. There's the outside part and a pocket for inserts. Typically you just use one insert, but they recommend doubling up at night. We bought the ones with snaps, but they also offer a velcro option.

I'm washing the rest of the new diapers, along with some other baby stuff and then I'm going to do a small load of the ones she went through today. It's a couple extra steps--for wet diapers, you spray them with Bio-Kleen (this is the stuff we're using at least), which is an enzyme cleaner, and then simply wash them. Poopy diapers are a bit more complicated, but we haven't had any of those in the new dipes yet. Brady is going to install the toilet sprayer so we spray off the excess, spray with Bio-Kleen, pre-soak (if necessary), then wash. Full review of the diapers coming soon. I think we'll use both disposable and cloth, depending on what we're doing, where we're going, etc.

In the meantime, Kaelyn seems to like them :)

Here's one more picture from the 20 seconds that Kaelyn actually enjoyed official Tummy Time today

Oh and happy 8 weeks! Kaelyn, you are such a beautiful, amazing little girl. You bring us so much joy everyday (even during the "Danger Zone" fussy time of 9-10pm.) We love you so so much, Little.
