Monday with the Munchkin

Kaelyn and I had a busy day today. I'm trying to get us into a routine so playtimes and naptimes are more predictable. Also, because she focuses more on things, we're introducing new toys and activities...She seemed to be overwhelmed by all there was to look at on the adventure gym so we moved quickly from that to...

Tummy time! Official tummy time, that is. She hasn't been a fan of it up until now, but she did well for a little while today. We started off with one of the Boppy pillows (the one Betty made for her, which we love)

Then we moved on to one that came with one of her playmats. She looks enthused, yes?

"Okay, maybe this isn't so bad."

Silly girl!

Oh and I shooed Budaj out of the nursery since we were spread out on the floor. Later I turned around to see this. He listens so well.

Then we chit-chatted for awhile and read board books together.

We also worked on her grip and coordination. She has a mean right hook ;)

We love taking pictures together :)

During her afternoon nap, I peeked over the breakfast bar to see Kaelyn doing this...

"Power to the babies!"

Late this afternoon, the weather had cooled off so we sat outside. Well, I read battled flies and the flying Frankenbeetle while Kaelyn slept. Still nice to get outside!

Oh and Budaj is one cool dude, hehe
