Easter 2011

Almost forgot to post these, though some are featured in the new blog header :)

We had a great Easter. Kaelyn still wasn't totally sure of what was going on, but she had a great day anyway.

We went to the 8:45 am service, which worked best with Kaelyn's sleep and nap schedule. We wanted to avoid crankiness of course. She actually did really well--she loved the music and singing, but after a while, she got a little "chatty." We kept Cheerios and a "ba-ba" close by. In fact the woman in the pew in front of us had one or two Cheerios gifted to her handbag...yeeeeah, oops. There's a soundproof kids' room in the back we didn't know was there so next time, we'll probably opt for that, just in case.

Walking toward the church...she was already tired. Notice the binkie in her mouth already?

Waiting for the service to start

Oh yes, we also had about 4 stuffed animals and a baby doll surrounding us...pictured is Dillon, the lion. She loves his crazy hair and it gives Mommy's hair a break from being pulled so I love it too!
Afterward, we strolled around outside waiting for the traffic to clear. First we attempted some photos by the fountain.

You may notice Brady's a little less hairy--he did the Playoffs beard for Coyotes charities, but unfortunately didn't have to grow it very long (he and the guys in his office still raised a good amount for charity!), but he decided to try shaving it all off. "Baby face," as he was called by his boss, has since grown back a goatee.

Self-portrait family photos are...tricky, hehe

"Ooooh, I see grass!"
We chose yellow (her favorite color) for her dress. The headband stayed on part of the time...she's not a fan of having things in her hair at the moment, but they just look so cute!

Kaelyn loved walking through the grass and stomping her shoes on the pavement.

Love this one:

Once we got home, Little went down for a nap (in her dress) and afterward, we headed up to hang out in Fountain Hills with Brady's parents, Ryan, Riss, Lena, and Riss's mom Maria. We Skyped some of the New Jersey Travis family and the Oklahoma division (Adam, Michelle, Catherine & Connor). We played a little cards, but mainly were being entertained by or trying to entertain the two munchkins. After a yummy dinner, we headed home. It was a very nice, mellow day! Next year, I have plans for a new twist on an Easter egg hunt. Kaelyn did get a few things this year, including a "One Cute Chick" shirt, a Fisher Price play camera, and a very soft, cute pink bunny.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!
