Brady and I celebrated our 2 years together on the 12th :) Time does fly, I must say. So one of us remembered the anniversary and one of us didn't. Any wagers?
Okay so I was teased relentlessly for my forgetfulness. Hey, I nearly forgot I have a birthday coming up before the wedding too. I'm telling you, my mind has taken my passport and jetted away somewhere!
Here are the absolutely beaUtiful roses that were waiting for me when I got home on Tuesday...while I was on the phone with Brady and stuttering my words when he asked me if I remembered what day it was. I had to check the calendar to make sure and though technically we were supposed to have our first date on the 13th, we moved it up to the 12th and had our second date about 12 hours later so yes, I completely spaced our anniversary. Bad bride! (For Brady's benefit: "I take it back immediately!" ;) )
These are my favorite kind of roses with the orange-ish base and the pink tips, which he knew...which is why he got them, sweet fiance that he is. (I just took this today so they're two days old at this point, but still looking and smelling wonderful).
So if roses and the accompanying card weren't enough, I found these on the kitchen table...
Sorry the picture's a little blurry...the camera was not wanting to focus properly today. Aren't these the most cheerful flowers you've ever seen? I've decided throughout wedding planning that gerbera daisies (the red flower on the right) are now one of my favorite flowers, though they won't make an appearance at the wedding. I just find them so cheery and friendly.
The wedding is getting closer and closer...the time is surprisingly flying by! Since graduation, we've been non-stop busy and there's a lot of projects going on. Our to-do list is getting smaller though! We use WeddingWire.com to maintain our to-do list, that way both of us can edit it and post notes if we're working on something. It's helped tremendously. Well on the checklist, there's a graphic with a little cartoon bride walking toward the groom. The more tasks you complete, the closer the bride gets to the groom, sort of like walking down the aisle. I personally think the groom should walk toward the bride in the checklist scenario and Brady suggested having a priest standing in the middle :)

Right now invitations are at the top of the priority list, but they're coming together well. Just waiting for a few items to arrive to be able to finish them off and get them mailed out (hopefully by the end of next week)!
Hope everyone's doing well!
