We've decided on a name for our little Peanut (just as long as she stays a girl at our next ultrasound ;) )
Her name is.....
She is named after both of her grandmas. My mom's middle name is Kay and Brady's mom's first name is of course Linda. We just tweaked the spelling a little.
We fell in love with the name Evangeline the first time we heard it, I believe watching Nanny McPhee :) Kaelyn means "pure" and Evangeline means "messenger of good news," but we didn't know any of that when we picked them. We just loved the names. It's a pretty sweet-sounding name for the NHL's future first starting female goalie, eh? hehehe
We've started to test out the name, but it's difficult to get out of the habit of calling her "Peanut!" It's also still surreal that we're having a daughter. We were in Babies R Us yesterday checking things out and doing some shopping for a friend's baby shower and I'd turn to Brady and say "We're having a girl." It's funny how it just dawns on you randomly. We're having a daughter, her name is Kaelyn and we're sooo incredibly excited.
