Baby's brain is still developing rapidly, and his skin has taken on a paler shade thanks to a thicker layer of fat around the blood vessels. (Don't worry; he'll change color again soon after birth.) He's now able to flex his limbs, and his nails might extend past his fingertips.
How far along? 39 weeks
How big is baby? I'm sticking with just "big." Sometimes I feel like the belly is leading me.
Sleep: Actually, it's not terrible. I'm managing the nasal congestion pretty well and since she's dropped, it's helped to lighten up the heartburn. I've been fortunate to be able to get some extra sleep this week before delivery.
Best moment this week: Being told I don't have pre-eclampsia was a relief. Spending time with Brady is always good :)
Labor Signs: They come and go. I made more progress when she checked me on Monday and all "signs" point to her coming soon. At least I have somewhat of a set date with the scheduled induction.

Movement: She'll flip from side to side, but obviously she's not doing much else. She's out of room!
Food cravings: Well this past weekend was a low-sodium diet weekend, per Dr. Hlavacek. The first dinner I wanted after getting released was a gyro so meat still I guess.
What I miss: Being able to pick things up off the floor.
What I am looking forward to: holding Kaelyn for the first time.
Milestones: Scheduled an induction and we're ready!
Weekly Wisdom: If you can, get some relaxation time before little one arrives. I feel really calm at this point and I know it's because I was forced (due to the pre-eclampsia scare) to have some major downtime.
