Some random pictures from the past couple of days...
Kaelyn has some wild hair, particularly in the mornings. Case and point? Her expression goes pretty well with it too :) Brady calls it her "Einstein hair"
Yeah, kiddo has a LOT of hair and it's filling in. (Tummy time today)
It was bound to happen...Budaj turned horsie.
Yesterday Kaelyn napped in her crib! It was the first time she put herself to sleep after being put in awake. Lumpy lovey? Check. Binkie? Check. Nature sound soother? Check. Blanket already kicked off? Check.
Not long later, I heard some "talking" coming from the nursery. Binkie MIA? Check. Lumpy Lovey tossed aside? Check. Baby Dumbo was also somehow pulled to her, but I had already set him back in place when I took this photo.
She was pretty proud of herself :) (You may notice a lot of photos of her in this onesie. yes, it's one of my favorites, hehe)
I think she looks like she's saying "Who are these people and why are they calling me 'Little'?"
So today she napped again in her crib...off and on for about an hour. Again, the magic formula in place--binkie, lovey, nature sounds...
I ended up sitting in the glider in her room because as soon as the sound soother shuts off, her eyes pop open. (I have to read the manual to see if there's a way to set the timer for longer.) Anyways, I was on patrol to keep the nature sounds going and to replace her binkie whenever she decided to spit it out and then inevitably panic. This was my view. We've discovered that she likes to sleep with her legs up in the air. Goofy girl!
From the other night--sleepy baby with Mommy. Brady took a bunch of photos trying to get her to smile, but she kept hiding behind me. Notice how she has herself propped up on my shoulder?
