Kaelyn turned 5 months on Monday--it's hard to believe, but she has grown soo much in that time and it's amazing how she learns something new every day. Here's some of what she can do, likes, and so forth:
-She wears size 3-6 month, but mostly size 6 month clothes.
-She has 6oz about every 3-4 hours.
-She routinely wakes up by 6am and has her morning nap within about 2-3 hours. The rest of the day is a little less routine. Sometimes she cat naps, sometimes she has long naps.
-We're not sure why, but she fights sleep with all her might. This is really the only time that she's super fussy.
-She'll fuss in her sleep throughout the night, but doesn't fully wake up all night.
-We've casually tried rice cereal and avocado with her. She wasn't thrilled with either.
-She can roll easily from back to tummy and tummy to back, but seems to be liking spending a lot of time on her tummy. As soon as we lay her to play on her back, she flips over.
-She can rotate on her belly.
-Little bores easily. She likes a change of scenery a lot.
-She's in a "give me" stage--everything we have in our hands she wants in her hands. Some photographic evidence of this below.
-She talks a lot. Her regular talk we call speaking "Baby." Her chatter we call "Baby-nese." :)
-She likes all things crinkly and she LOVES water.
Now for the photos! This first one was just to show how she sleeps--feet crossed, hands behind her head. Oh and Lumpy and/or her new crinkly star under her arm or over her face. This is also how she takes a bottle.
She reads several books a day. Just kidding, but we read a lot together. She's getting into grabbing the book and turning the pages.
