Um, so do they ever do a percentile higher than 99? ;)
Dr. Barcellona said she's really advanced for her age so he gave us the green light to give her "solids" 3 times a day. She's been doing about one serving a day for the past 2 months. We had been concerned about her little coughs lately, but he said it's just her getting used to her vocal chords and "talking"...she definitely does a LOT of that! So Little's a healthy girl--yaaay, baby!
Some of what she's up to these days:
-She's wearing anything from 3 month size clothes to 18 months, depending on the brand. For the most part though, 12 month stuff fits her the best (even though it's still a little big.)
-No teeth yet, but she's teething quite a bit. Fortunately, the teething tablets seem to help most of the time. Edit: Dr. Barcellona says she's not teething, she just wants to gnaw on something. Hmm.
-She can sit up unassisted, but if she's not paying attention, she'll topple over. She's starting to catch herself though--little girl has some strong abs ;)
-She crawls backwards. It's pretty funny.
-When we hold her hands and help her stand, she'll do a little "dance."
-Yesterday I had her sitting on my leg and she started jumping.
-She grabs for everything.
-She's a chatterbox, complete with syllables, and a lot of conviction in her voice.
-She loves hair. Just ask the several dozen strands she's ripped from my head.
-So far on her menu: Bananas, avocado, apple sauce, and this week we tried sweet potatoes. I made a ton of it to freeze so hopefully she continues to like it.
-She drinks 6 oz every 3-4 hours still. We give her 7 oz at bedtime.
-She's still not totally sleeping through the night. She wakes up around midnight-1am, sometimes still asleep, but crying. She usually starts to stir in the morning around 5:30, but is wide awake by 6:30 at the latest.
-Little LOVES bath time, the dogs, hanging upside down, and collecting all her toys around her.
-She is very social, wants to be in the center of the action, she's strong-willed, very talkative (if only we knew what she's saying!), and when she's relaxed, she's reeeeally relaxed (this goes the other way too).
-She's into throwing things.
-Her smile is HUGE and she'll flap her arms when she's really excited.
-We got her sunglasses and she doesn't seem to mind them at all. It's pretty funny to see her in the rear view mirror though because you can't tell if she's awake!

We love the pictures. Glad Kaelyn is doing fine. Thanks for posting.
