Our family photoshoot

Our very talented sister-in-law Michelle has fallen in love with photography and is turning that love into her very own business, For The Love of Pictures. When we found out Michelle, Adam, Catherine, and Connor were coming out to Arizona for a visit, I volunteered us for a photoshoot to help build Michelle's portfolio and so that we could get some really amazing photos of the three of us. Early Sunday morning, we headed over to Kierland Commons to have our first professional family photoshoot! (Besides the one of the dogs, all the photos in our new header were taken by Michelle.) Here are some of our favorites (as you can see, I had a lot of favorites):

Kaelyn occasionally topples over when she's sitting on her own so here's an outtake...notice my hand jumping into the photo from the right? No Littles were harmed in the taking of these photographs.

See? Happy baby :) Love this one. I believe it will be enlarged and framed in our house very soon. This was the first time Kaelyn's worn jeans. Oh my goodness, sooo cute on her!

At this point, she was getting sleepy. Very very sleepy.

What's the best thing to do with a cranky Little? Add water. Perfect distraction. Oh and those fountains? Right after this, the water pressure got cranked up and my jeans and shoes got soaked. It was kind of nice since it was starting to get warm outside.

You can't see the logos on the tops, but Kaelyn's wearing pirate Converse-style shoes. They were the first shoes I ever bought her...and they don't fit anymore. I think the window of opportunity that they actually would have fit was about 5 seconds.

Who would have ever thought a Red Wings fan would willingly take photos of us in our Avs gear? Actually, I haven't looked closely, perhaps Michelle embedded a layer in the photo that says something derogatory about our team, hehe ;)
