A Little Photoshoot

On Saturday, I continued to try to learn settings on the new camera so Kaelyn and I literally stepped out our front door to get a few cute photos. She doesn't like to stay in one place, as I've mentioned and this is usually humorous, particularly when she's bolting across the floor to get us to chase her, but it's not easy to figure out aperture, shutter speed, ISO, etc. (especially as an amateur photographer) when your subject is attempting to crawl away faster than the speed of light.

Kaelyn is teething big time (I predict her top front two teeth will pop through this week) so she gnaws on her fingers, but this reminded me again of Austin Powers/Dr. Evil, if only she was using her pinky finger. Remember this photo? (Which still cracks me up, by the way.)

Beautiful girl. Recognize the top? She also wore it in her 6 month photoshoot with Michelle. (Also in our current header.) It's loose fitting so it'll probably still fit for a couple more months, which is good because it's adorable!

Not the best lighting, but thought it was cute with her sitting in the doorway--see her water table in the background? (I do not recommend them for indoor use unless a) you have tile floors 2) you have stacks and stacks of ShamWows. Even then, it's a little...wet.
