For the past--oh--3 months, we've had plans to go to the zoo. Every time we plan an outing though, something else comes up. Finally on New Year's Eve, we made it back to the zoo!
I got a chance to use our new digital SLR camera, which Santa got us for Christmas. It's my learning camera and Brady's backup for photo shoots.
We had a wonderful time--the stingrays are back, but we're going to wait to see them once it warms up a little (we also found out they might be staying permanently!), it wasn't too busy, despite the full parking lot, and the koalas were actually awake :) (My koala pics turned out pretty blurry because they keep it dark for them, but Brady got some really cool ones.)
I also got to use my new camera strap slipcover, which I bought as a gift for myself...love it :)

Our little cowgirl (we have some adorable photos of her on the rocking horse she got for Christmas)
In the tunnel w/ Daddy. Not the best lighting, but cute nonetheless
It was a tad bit chilly so once Kaelyn went back in the stroller for a puffs snack, I bundled her up even more (I forgot the detachable hood for her coat at home)...no she doesn't match, but she was warm!
The "Pumbaas" had mohawks--I'm thinking this is the crazy winter 'do
