The Sunday before last, our precious little girl was baptized. That Sunday was also known as Super Bowl Sunday. Despite the hype and hoopla of the game, we had a great turnout!
We had her baptism at Brophy Chapel, where we of course, got married. Father Olivier, who married Adam & Michelle, and baptized Catherine & Connor, was wonderful and funny when Kaelyn decided to chatter away during the ceremony. He told her "It's your day, you can say whatever you want" and boy, did she ever! During one part, she did sit attentively in my lap and seemed enamored in what he was saying, but 11 month olds only have so long of an attention span :)
These are the first batch of photos we received from Brady's mom. We have lots coming from Drew, who was nice enough to be photographer for the day.

Phillip receiving Kaelyn's baptism candle, the flame representing her faith and the love of Jesus in her life. Brady's holding the hat that matched her gown--she pulled it off a few minutes into her baptism :)

Our water baby had no problem having Father Olivier pour water on her head. Actually, she dipped her head back, her eyes wide, her mouth open and said "Waaaa!"

With Auntie Sherry (and Phillip all "lawyered up" in pinstripes, which looked very snazzy.)

Getting her baptism certificate and chatting with Father Olivier (AKA: Dutch)
With Great Grandpa Santoro...and this is a rare sight to be captured--Drew! I've learned that most photographers don't like to have their picture taken.

Kaelyn's beautiful gown was lovingly made by Betty. We loved it!
(Thank you so much, Betty. You're amazing!)

I actually love this photo. Notice how we're all looking in different directions? Too funny!
Thank you to all our friends and family who were able to attend! It was great to see everyone for Kaelyn's special day.

Glad you guys had a good day! Sorry we couldn't be there.
