Our sweet little girl turned 1 on February 26th! I'm obviously really behind with getting these photos posted, but here are some pictures from her party:

Getting read for CAKE!
I made a pumpkin cake for her "smash" cake and this was also my first attempt at fondant. We had an under the sea theme going so there was a sting ray, a whale, an octopus, a sea turtle, a crab, starfish, and of course some bubbles and seaweed. I used cocoa powder at the base to simulate sand at the bottom of the ocean :) She actually had no interest in smashing it. I helped her dip her hands and the frosting basically just ended up in her hair and on her clothes.
Funny story...when I took the cake out of the fridge that morning, the sea turtle's head popped off. Yeeeeah.

Little got her first car from Aunt Sherry & Uncle Jason--appropriately a BMW! (Jason is a Master BMW Mechanic)
Lucky girl! She LOVES it. She rides on it all the time and even tries to take her other favorite toys for a ride on it. She does pretty well scooting around!

We attempted a family shot about a dozen times. Little one wouldn't smile. She wanted to climb, pull away, pull my hair, anything but smile. So...yeeeah.
