That oh-so-handy sense of equilibrium is kicking in, and baby's learning to distinguish right side up from upside down.
Your baby's ears are fully functional now, and he or she may even blink in reaction to a loud noise. The brain is growing rapidly. If you could look inside your uterus, you'd see a well-proportioned head and body.
How far along? 25 weeks
How big is baby? We'll go with the guy-friendly one. She's about the size of a 13-inch work boot. The estimate is right around 13 1/2 inches and about 1.5-2 pounds. The other comparisons are an eggplant and a rutabaga.
Sleep: I need it. I had one night of reprieve from strange dreams, which was great, but it really was just the one night. I think I'm definitely going to be going to bed a little earlier, getting naps when I can.

Best moment this week: On Sunday, Brady and I went out for lunch and spent the rest of the day scouting out our Black Friday shopping. We also went to Babies R Us and found a fantastic deal on a swing.
Movement: Oh yes and my goodness is she strong already. According to her daddy, all her kicks are "kick saves" and the lighter ones are "glove saves." No pressure, kiddo ;)
Food cravings: Broccoli w/ cheese. Those Green Giant frozen broccoli with rice and cheese side dishes? Yeah, me likey very much. I wanted some sort of chocolate brownie-esque, souffle type thing last night, but didn't have anything in the house that fit the bill. For the record, I'm typically not a chocolate lover.

Gender: Girl!
Belly Button in or out? Belly buttons may appear much larger and wider than they actually are (under shirts). Still in. My belly seems to square out over my belly button.
What I miss: My normal non-fluid retaining ankles. I just have to stand up and wham! Shrek feet.
What I am looking forward to: We *might* get to see little one tonight since they didn't get good looks at everything on her anatomy scan, but if Dr. Doan thinks everything looks great, we'll have to wait until the 3D ultrasound. Also looking forward to decorating for Christmas this week and Black Friday bargains next week! We also have our hospital tour next Monday, which I imagine will feel really surreal. The 3D ultrasound is the following week so a few exciting weeks ahead!
Milestones: Umm, do my cankles Shrek and Donkey count? Having to buy compression socks? (Which have yet to arrive.) Yes, I'm bitter about my poor ankles. I'm 3 weeks from 3rd trimester, which is just craziness. FMLA paperwork is also getting completed. ::maternity leave happy dance:: Oh and I now have a coupon organizer. It goes with me everywhere and I lurve it.
Weekly Wisdom: I think finding a deal releases endorphins.
Oh, if you don't do it already, check out couponmom.com for links to all the coupon sites. Also, check shortcuts.com and pgesaver.com, just 2 of the sites where you can upload coupons directly to your grocery card so you don't have to clip those coupons.
