Update on Little Annie

So Annie had her re-check tonight. Two weeks ago she was diagnosed with a really bad UTI and a bacterial ear infection. Well, she continued her streak of surprising vets by completely turning her labwork around. Last time, her white blood cells were 100 (normal is really low, like under 5), as well as some blood cells that had Dr. Hessian concerned that it might not just be the UTI causing this spike in her labwork. Tonight? Her white blood cells were at 3 and no signs of red blood cells in her urine. We could hear Dr. Hessian chatting with the tech before she came in about how boring her labwork was. That's something you definitely want to hear.

Dr. Hessian then checked out her ears. Poor Annie with her chronic Cocker ears. She said they're looking better. It's not something we expected to change drastically because she's had issues with them her whole life, but definitely improved. She got them flushed out (that sounds pleasant, doesn't it?) and that was it.

So all good news for Miss Annabelle! Way to go kiddo :)
