Are you ready for some hockey?

Well, Kaelyn will be. She already has a pretty impressive collection of Avalanche gear, but we wanted to be able to take her with us to at least one game before the end of the season. Of course, we worry about her little ear drums. Therefore, this made its way into our Amazon.com shopping cart:Behold, junior-sized ear muffs. For the record, we were planning to get the pink ones (which would have been absolutely adorable), but they had a 2-4 week shipping delay. Plus these coordinate w/ Avalanche colors a lot better ;) These will also come in handy for 4th of July and so forth and they should fit well for quite a while. There were adorable photos reviewers posted of their babies and kids wearing these.

Also included in this particular Amazon purchase was the highly-recommended Sleepy Wrap. (Similar to the Moby Wrap) For many parents, it's a lifesaver that soothes their baby when nothing else will work. I very much look forward to the silliness that will arise from using a stuffed animal as our guinea pig. I'm sure the dogs are thanking their lucky stars they're far too heavy to qualify for the job.

Oh and Brady and I just might be ready for some hockey soon too. The weekend did us good. My doctor prescribed a Z-pack in case my cold was turning more into a sinus infection, which seems to have helped. I'm on day 4. I can actually breathe somewhat out of my nose, which is wonderful. We both have the lingering coughs, but I, for one, feel sooo much better than last week and feel like I can actually get some sleep now. I wasn't liking the idea of being completely wiped out from being sick, foggy headed, and going into labor so I'm very happy to be recovering.
